A Brief Interruption in Service
Don't the people at my job know that I have a countdown to finish? Pardon the hideous interruption in my Ten Best list, which I'll resume as soon as possible. Blame some looming deadlines and academic over-extension, necessitating my first all-nighter inside my own office as a professional-type person. When I've had any time to write at all, I've devoted it to Nathaniel's 2nd annual Oscar Symposium, which I invite you all to read!Labels: Awards2006, BlogBuddies, Oscars

Oh yeah! The office overnighter! I did my first this year. It was actually sort of an adventure, especially since I have east and west windows and thus got to see the sun go down...and come back up on the other side of the building.

Well, the thing is, it's not actually *my* office I'm in. It's a colleague's office. I don't yet have my own office, being near the bottom of the office-having pecking order. And the walls are coming apart. But the windows are indeed fancy.
Office all-nighter? Eeek!
