First screened in February 2016
Director: Henry Koster. Cast: James Stewart, Josephine Hull, Charles Drake, Victoria Horne, Peggy Dow, Cecil Kellaway, Jesse White, Clem Bevans, Nana Bryant, William H. Lynn, Wallace Ford, Grayce Mills. Screenplay: Mary Chase and Oscar Brodney (based on the play by Mary Chase).

Twitter Capsule: Everybody acts as if they're in a charming, distinguished comedy. Maybe only they can see it? Surely worked better on stage.

VOR:   The play was a legend on the boards. Stewart played the part repeatedly, in multiple media, and cited it as a favorite. Hull got an Oscar. Don't let me stop you. And yet.
